a sculptural dance miniature on 2 m²

The solo dis_figured explores the discrepancy between the meanings of figure, shape, understanding and the unrecognisable, deformed, intangible. The dance miniature is a choreographic puzzle that understands the body as material. Repetitive elements at the interface to the sculptural and pictorial break rhythmically from the rigidity of limitation.
What is left of the human when the human is “disfigured”?
What is that anyway?
Strange, ugly, uncanny - and maybe also strangely beautiful.
